Short description
Kerberos
Long description
Kerberos is an authentication protocol for computer networks for secure authentication over an otherwise insecure network, using symmetric cryptography and a third party service provider, that is trusted both by client and server. . The authentication mechanism provided by Kerberos is mutual, so that not only a server can be sure of a client's identity, but also a client can be sure a connection to a server is not intercepted. .
